Description

Stylish and comfortable, the Jerry white dining chair is a classic design in moulded plastic with a PU upholstered seat pad for added comfort and white-oiled solid oak legs. The chair works equally well with glass, wood or metal dining tables and is available various colours to mix and match. Exclusive to Habitat, the table is part of the wider Jerry range, which includes dining chairs, tables and storage.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Habitat 4 Jerry dining chairs for their clean, minimalist design and versatile style. Their simple white finish makes them a great choice for a modern or Scandinavian-inspired interior, seamlessly blending into both neutral and colourful schemes. These chairs work particularly well in open-plan dining areas or kitchens with natural light, as their understated aesthetic keeps the space feeling airy and fresh. Practical styling tips include pairing them with a wooden dining table for a cosy, cohesive look or mixing with statement tableware for a contemporary touch. Their neutral tone also makes them an easy foundation for colourful cushions or throws, allowing for flexible updates over time.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
