Description

Create a bistro zone on your own patio with our chic bar set. This 3-piece combination is striking and just perfect as we enter the warmer months. Classically styled with a rattan-edged, round glass table top and typical thigh-high bar chairs it's great for brunch, lunch or evening cocktails. Comfortable, stylish and fun.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Habitat 2 Seater Bamboo Bar Bistro Set for its relaxed, natural look that works beautifully in both contemporary and rustic garden schemes. Its rattan and bamboo elements add a warm texture, making it ideal for outdoor patios, balcony corners, or even sun rooms that lean towards a casual, tropical vibe. Practical styling tips include pairing it with colourful or patterned cushions to introduce colour and comfort, and keeping the palette neutral for a chic, understated appeal. This set lends itself well to layered styling-think potted plants, lanterns, or a simple outdoor rug-to create a welcoming, lived-in feel that’s perfect for casual alfresco dining or indulging in a weekend cuppa.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
