Description

Soft and curvaceous edges blend with a beautiful warm toned wood for a laid-back piece to add to your everyday dining. U-shaped legs create a relaxed and retro bench that would fit in a variety olf interiors and pair wonderfully with our extendable dining table.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Gyda bench for its clean lines and solid oak frame - it slots easily into Scandi, modern farmhouse or minimalist schemes. Its gentle curves and warm timber tone add character without overpowering a space, and it’s just as at home in a dining area as it is in a hallway or at the foot of a bed. For styling, keep it simple: a textured lumbar cushion or a folded wool throw brings comfort and a touch of softness. In an entryway you can tuck low baskets underneath for shoes or umbrellas, and in a dining setting consider pairing it with mixed-seat chairs to create a laid-back, collected look.

About Cox and Cox

Founded in 2001, Cox and Cox puts a focus on unique designs and high-quality craftsmanship to help bring a touch of elegance and individuality to every room.

Origins and Evolution

Cox & Cox has a rich history that intertwines with British interior design. The brand traces its roots to Fiona Cox, a renowned figure in the UK's design scene who made waves with her appearance on the BBC's hit show, Home Front.

Fast forward to today, and they're stationed in Frome, Somerset, having evolved from tiny decorative trinkets to an expansive range of stylish furniture and more.

Globe-Trotting for the Perfect Piece

The team at Cox & Cox have a knack for hunting down unique pieces. They travel around the globe, exploring markets, meeting artisans, and diving into the world of design.

Out of the hundreds of items they come across, they meticulously select those that align with their ethos high-quality, functional, and stylish. And, with their offerings split into six distinct trends, they've got a bit of inspiration for every kind of home lover.

Marching Towards Sustainability

Cox & Cox is not just about aesthetic appeal; they are deeply committed to becoming a responsible brand.

Recognizing the long journey towards true sustainability, they've put in place an advisory board dedicated to advancing the use of sustainable materials and promoting responsible practices, both domestically and abroad. They're continually reviewing their processes and are optimistic about making significant strides in sustainability in the coming years.
