I’m a fan of the Gubi console’s slim steel frame paired with a neutral white travertine top - it feels elegant without overpowering a space. Its clean lines make it ideal for minimalist, Scandinavian or contemporary interiors, and the lower shelf is brilliant for discreet storage (think woven baskets or a few art books).
Styling-wise, keep the top simple: a shallow tray for keys or candles, a low sculptural vase with fresh blooms and perhaps a small stack of coffee-table books. Hang a mirror or pared-back artwork above to lift the look and bounce light. In a hallway it works as a drop-zone; in a living room it’s great behind a sofa.
