Description
Stemlite Floor lamp from Gubi is a reinterpretation of designer Bill Curry's original design from 1962. The design of the Stemlite is typical of the 60s' futuristic influences in design. The floor lamps have a weight hidden in the base of the lamp, which makes it stand stable despite its large, oval glass shade.
Our Stylist Says
I love this floor lamp for its sleek, modern silhouette and the way the black chrome finish complements a variety of interiors, from contemporary to minimalist. The opal glass provides a soft, diffuse glow that adds warmth without overpowering a space. This lamp works particularly well in lounge areas, bedrooms, or reading nooks where ambient light is key. Practical styling tip: position it beside a cosy armchair or sofa to create an inviting reading corner, and keep the cords tucked away to maintain clean lines. Its understated yet striking design makes it versatile enough to anchor a pared-back aesthetic or act as a sophisticated accent in more eclectic interiors.
