Description
Designed in 2013 for prestigious Scandinavian label Gubi, the Rectangular Dining Table was created by Poul Christiansen and Boris Berlin of Komplot Design as a simple, clean and uncluttered table for the home. Available in beautiful grained walnut, classic oak or black-stained ash, the Gubi Rectangular Dining Table exhibits an angled surface with an elegant bevelled edge, perfect for everything from entertaining to everyday use. The perfect accompaniment to the Gubi Chair, this collection is the first to be based on the innovative moulded three-dimensional veneer technique, allowing each piece a sense of lightness, owing to the vastly reduced veneer thickness used with this ground-breaking technology. Komplot Design was founded in 1987 by Poul Christiansen and Boris Berlin. The 2003 design of the complementary Gubi Chair has been displayed in New York's MoMA, and has won a variety of prestigious awards including the Danish Design Prize and Red Dot Design Award, both in 2004.
