One of Gio Ponti’s signature designs is the Randaccio Mirror from 1925. Designed for his own home on Via Randaccio in Milano, his very first architectural project, the Randaccio Mirror decorated the walls in his bedroom on the 3rd floor together with other furniture designed for the apartment. The Randaccio Mirror unites elegance with simplicity and is characterised by its atypical crown-like detailing on the top, a detail used by Ponti in several of his works within design and art.
I love this round wall mirror for its clean, modern look with a touch of vintage charm thanks to the antique brass finish. It works beautifully in a range of interiors, from contemporary to more eclectic styles, adding a subtle warmth and sophistication. For practical styling tips, consider placing it in an entryway to create an inviting focal point, or use it above a console table or in a bathroom to enhance light and make small spaces feel larger. Its 60cm size makes it versatile-big enough to make an impact without overwhelming the space. Pair it with other brass accents or textured elements for a cohesive look.
