The pompous glass table Pedrera from Danish Gubi is designed by Barba Corsini & Ruiz Millet. The table is part of the series that was created when Barba Corsini renovated the well-known building La Pedrera in Barcelona. At that time, a laundry room was transformed into 13 modern apartments where Corsini furnished with furniture that he himself had designed. Pedrera coffee table was one of the objects - a beautiful asymmetrical glass table with a steel base.

I’m a fan of the Pedrera table for its light, architectural frame and softly rounded glass top - it feels both graphic and unobtrusive. It sits equally well in a minimalist, Scandi-inspired living room or an industrial loft, where its black steel legs echo darker accents without overwhelming the space. For styling, keep objects low and sculptural: think a small ceramic tray, a couple of art books or a single bud vase. The clear surface also makes it perfect for floating area rugs or patterned tiles below, so you can show off whatever’s on the floor.
