Description
M-Chair chair by Gubi is a sleek dining chair designed by Marcel Gascoin in 1937 and launched into production by GUBI for the first time. The chair combines a visually light metal construction with generous, fully upholstered seating comfort. The slim, tapered legs in a matte black finish meet a soft seat and a floating backrest that give the design a graphic and architectural expression. With its compact proportions, M-Chair fits nicely around the dining table and becomes a timeless addition to the home’s dining area.
Our Stylist Says
I love how this chair’s sleek matt black finish and geometric fabric pattern make it quite versatile, working well in both contemporary and eclectic interiors. It’s a stylish choice that can elevate a minimalist dining room or add visual interest to a more layered, vintage-inspired space. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a simple wooden or marble table to highlight its modern edge, and balancing its bold pattern with neutral or textured accessories. It’s also a good option for smaller spaces, as its slim legs and compact shape keep the overall look light and uncluttered.
