Description
The Grasshopper floor lamp from the Danish brand Gubi is the most iconic piece of design, created by Greta Grossman during the1940's. She was inspired by the European Modernism and her designs have been exhibited at several famous museums such as MoMa in New York and The National Museum in Stockholm. The Grasshopper is a true classics and with its elegant shape it is extremely decorative next to your armchair or couch. Goes great together with other items from Gubi's collection.
Our Stylist Says
I love this floor lamp for its modern yet understated design, which makes it highly versatile across various interiors. Its warm grey tone lends a subtle sophistication that works well in both minimalist and Scandinavian settings, providing a gentle contrast without overpowering other colour schemes. Practical styling tips include placing it near a reading nook or lounge area to enhance both function and aesthetic appeal. Its slender, sculptural form makes it ideal for smaller spaces or as an accent piece in contemporary rooms, helping to add a touch of warmth and character while remaining unobtrusive.
