Description
The Bat Lounge Chair, which comes in a high- and low-back version, is designed by Danish-Italian design-duo Gam. Fratesi. The chair carries strong references to the interesting characteristics of bats, with its inviting, distinctive shell reminiscent of the shape of a bat’s wingspan.

I particularly rate the Bat chair in the Karakorum 003 boucle for its compact, curving frame and warm brass legs. It slips neatly into modern, Scandi or mid-century-inspired schemes and brings a soft focal point without overwhelming the room.
For styling, pair it with a slim timber or marble side table, layer in a contrasting wool throw or sheepskin, and add a slender-stemmed floor lamp to keep the focus on the chair’s clean lines.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
