Our Stylist Says
I love this dark grey mat for its simplicity and versatility, making it a great choice for a range of interior styles. Its neutral tone works well with both contemporary and more traditional entrances, providing a clean, inviting look. When styling, I recommend pairing it with natural materials like wood or stone for a warm, welcoming feel, or using it to add a subtle contrast in monochrome schemes. Practical tips include placing it on a tidy doorstep to keep dirt at bay, ensuring it’s sized appropriately for your entryway, and rolling or cleaning it periodically to maintain its fresh appearance. It’s durable enough for outdoor use but sleek enough to enhance your home’s curb appeal effortlessly.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
