Description

Introduce a calming and serene atmosphere to your home with our Grooved Ceramic Vase in Blue, a soothing and stylish piece that complements various decor styles. The grooved pattern offers a visually captivating texture, while the blue colour evokes a sense of tranquillity. Its medium size allows for versatile placement, whether you choose to display flowers or use it as a focal point and a pop of colour in your decor.

Our Stylist Says

I love the grooved ceramic vase for its bold colour and textured finish, which makes it a versatile statement piece. It works particularly well in contemporary or mid-century styled interiors, adding a splash of colour and interest to minimalist setups. For practical styling, try pairing it with simple, neutral florals like dried grasses or understated greenery to let the texture and colour stand out. Alternatively, it can be a striking standalone sculpture on a console table or mantle. Keep in mind its robust form, making it ideal for larger arrangements or as an accent piece in open shelving.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
