Description

Full of charm and character, our Grey Cowhide Rectangular Stool truly encompasses modern farmhouse style. Produced from solid mango wood and upholstered in a sumptuous grey cowhide, this comfy, classic stool is perfect for additional seating in your sitting room or bedroom.

Our Stylist Says

I love this stool for its versatile mix of rustic charm and modern texture. The grey cowhide adds a tactile layer and visual interest, making it ideal for both contemporary and more traditional interiors. It works particularly well in schemes that incorporate natural fibres or neutral palettes, providing a practical yet stylish piece that can double as extra seating or as a side table. For styling tips, consider pairing it with woven rugs, vintage ceramics, or sleek metals to create a balanced look. It's a robust piece that brings a sense of warmth and character, making it suitable for kitchens, living rooms, or even a cosy reading nook.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
