Description

The Homescapes brand tartan throws are a stylish masculine household accessory, as with any design of Scottish influence. These covers are of the highest quality and are constructed using 100 soft cotton yarns. This means that the fabric bears a wonderful balance, obtained from the weaving of single yarns. The contemporary classic plaid design originated in woven wool cloth in Scotland and was primarily worn by clansmen. Despite that it has consistently proven itself as a stylish print over the years, it will never go out of fashion.

Our Stylist Says

I love this tartan throw for its classic yet vibrant look; the grey and red check adds a warm, inviting touch to any room. It works particularly well in both traditional and contemporary interiors - think cosy country cottages or modern city flats seeking a splash of colour. It’s sizeable enough to double as a bedspread or a statement layer on sofas, making it versatile for different spaces. Practical styling tips include draping it casually over a sofa or armchair for an instant relaxed vibe, or folding it neatly at the foot of the bed for a pop of pattern. Its bold tartan pattern is a timeless choice that pairs effortlessly with neutral tones or even classic denim, providing flexibility to refresh your space without a overhaul.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
