Description

The Grenville is an electrically operated recliner armchair, ideal for those who require assistance or struggle with closing manual recline mechanisms. The chair is covered in durable bonded leather although faux leather match is used on the lower stress areas including, but not limited to, the back and sides of the chair. The seat is foam filled for ultimate comfort. The recline function is operated by buttons that are built into the right-hand side of the chair (as seated) and is completely variable - when you release the button the chair will stop in that position.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Grenville electric recliner chair for its sleek black finish, which makes it a versatile statement piece in both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in cosy living rooms or study areas where comfort meets sophistication. When styling around it, consider pairing with neutral or muted-toned furnishings to let the chair stand out, while adding textured throws or cushions for extra comfort. Practical tips include placing it near a side table for convenience or in a corner with good lighting to create a inviting relaxation nook. Its electric reclining feature also enhances functionality, making it ideal for spaces focused on comfort and ease of use.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
