Drawing the eye towards a colourful floral centrepiece, this silk embroidered bed runner displays a large handwoven SUZANI design. Warm terracotta and vibrant red hues complement the green leaf pattern on a natural cotton background, allowing the design to stand out and create a statement decor piece. Arranged within a large border of intricate vines and colourful blossoms, the bed runner is finished with a contrasting cream rear panel. MINDTHEGAP'S handmade suzani bed runners originate in Nurata, Uzbekistan. The intricate, colourful pattern is drawn onto the heavy cotton base fabric before embroidering happens. Common motifs include flowers, leaves, fruits, particularly pomegranate.
