Price History

Description

A romantic country cottage-inspired cushion in green gingham with tufted edges.

Our Stylist Says

I love this gingham cushion for its timeless, versatile appeal. Its classic green and white check pattern works particularly well in country-inspired, rustic, or pared-back interiors, adding a touch of cosy charm without feeling too fussy. It’s especially effective mixed with natural textures like linen, rattan, or wood for a relaxed yet pulled-together look. For styling tips, try layering it with complementary cushions in neutral shades or subtle patterns to create depth. It’s also great in a kitchen nook or on a sofa as a subtle pop of colour and pattern, easy to switch out seasonally or as moods change. Overall, this cushion is a practical choice that elevates simple spaces with its understated charm.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
