Description

Keep all their stationery and homework essentials in one place with this Under Desk Storage Tower from Great Little Trading Co. Great for small spaces, it tucks neatly away when not in use and because it's on wheels, it's easy for kids to pull out and put away again. There's a shelf for notepads and workbooks plus a stationery tray and an additional large compartment too. The roomy bottom section is the perfect size for one of GLTC's rope baskets or canvas cubes. Please note: this item is not suitable for children under 3 due to a risk of a possible choking hazard on small parts.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this little one for its practicality and clean look. It’s ideal for keeping children’s stationery, books, and small craft supplies organised without taking up too much space. Its simple white design means it works well in a variety of interiors, from modern and minimal to cosy and traditional, adding a neat, clutter-free element to any child's study corner or bedroom. Styling tips include pairing it with colourful storage boxes or cute accessories to personalise the space, or keeping it in a light, bright corner for a fresh, functional feel. It’s a smart choice for parents wanting something sturdy and neat that helps foster independence and organisation amongst kids.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
