Description

We love the head-friendly edges of this kids' mid-sleeper bed - and it's a clever way to make more room! With a central staircase, this beautiful bed will suit any room or any layout. Built to last, it includes a 5 year warranty. Add the roll out Paddington Desk and Storage Shelf to turn the space underneath into the perfect storage, study and play zone. It's also available with play curtains (all sold separately). Warning: Not suitable for children under six years due to the risk of injury from falls. Bunk beds and high beds can present a serious risk of injury from strangulation if not used correctly. Never attach or hang items to any part.

Our Stylist Says

The Paddington mid sleeper frame in white is a versatile choice that works well in both classic and Scandinavian-inspired interiors, thanks to its clean lines and neutral shade. I love how it maximises space, providing under-bed storage ideas such as practical hampers or personalised reading nooks, making it ideal for smaller bedrooms. To style it, consider adding colourful or themed bedding for a fun, playful look, or keep it simple with natural textiles for a calmer atmosphere. Pairing it with some colour-coordinated accessories or a statement wall behind can instantly elevate the overall look, making it both functional and visually appealing for modern family homes.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
