Description
The Grateful Heart Wall Plaque is designed like a rustic sliced tree trunk with bark around its edges and a rope attachment for hanging. Its uplifting sentiment reminds you to 'begin each day with a grateful heart' and is written atop the brushed white wood for a touch of shabby chic charm.
Our Stylist Says
I love this wall plaque because it adds a cosy, heartfelt touch to any space. Its simple design and natural wood edge make it versatile, working well in both rustic and contemporary interiors. It’s especially great in living rooms, kitchens, or entrance halls where it can set a warm, positive tone. For styling, I’d suggest placing it at eye level on a feature wall or incorporating it with other natural materials like woven baskets or potted greenery for a balanced, inviting look. To keep the message clear and impactful, pair it with minimal other artwork or decorative pieces around it.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
