Description
The Grande ambassador bed exuberates a majestic and royal aura with its beautifully diamond buttoned headboard, upholstered side panels and footboard to match. The Grande features a stunning crushed velvet fabric that is a standout piece of furniture in any bedroom. The Grande bed frame is upholstered in polyester with silver feet and comes in a beautiful crushed steel velvet. This frame has a sprung slatted base sunken into the bed that offers a natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted to provide greater comfort. The maximum weight load for the 4'6ft frame is 300kg, the 5ft frame is 400 kg, 6 frame is 450 kg. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended mattress height is 3400mm.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
