Price History

Description

Adding character and storage to any hallway, this Monks Bench makes an ideal spot for putting on your shoes and provides plenty of storage space inside for things such as shoes, umbrellas or any other bits you wish to keep out of sight. This beautifully designed country-inspired bench is handmade from solid mango wood in an oak-ish finish.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bench for its natural warmth and Minamalist design, making it versatile for various interiors. The Monk Mango Wood Bench works particularly well in rustic or coastal schemes but can also add a relaxed touch to modern or industrial spaces. Practical styling tips include using it as a welcoming entryway seat with a cosy cushion, or as additional seating paired with a coffee table in a lounge. Its sturdy construction and rich brown tone make it easy to accessorise-consider placing a basket underneath for added storage or styling with potted plants or books on top for a lived-in look.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
