Description

Snuggle into the Renée armchair, handcrafted in India and upholstered in a beautiful linen. With carved mango wood legs and brass rivet detailing, this French-inspired chair will feel like a treasured antique in your home.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Renée armchair for its classic yet versatile design, which can elevate both traditional and contemporary interiors. Its natural linen fabric offers a relaxed, neutral tone that pairs well with a variety of colour schemes and textures. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms where a cosy, inviting seating spot is desired. For styling, consider layering with cushions in contrasting fabrics or patterns to add depth, and pairing it with wooden or metal side tables for an understated, elegant look. Its tapered legs and subtle detailing make it suitable for a range of interiors from Scandi minimalism to more vintage-inspired schemes.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
