Description

The original version of this vintage marine illustration dates back to the 18th century and has been digitally restored to its former glory, showcasing beautifully intricate details and its traditional Latin name. Set in an oak wood frame, this large print is expertly reproduced using high-grade paper and archival-quality inks.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lobster print for its charming, vintage-inspired appeal, making it a great statement piece for adding a touch of coastal character. It works particularly well in laid-back seaside-inspired interiors, or as an accent in neutral modern spaces to introduce a pop of colour and personality. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with natural textures like rattan or linen to enhance its maritime feel. It’s versatile enough to hang in kitchens, living rooms, or even a bathroom to bring a fresh, playful vibe. For a balanced look, position it at eye level above a sideboard or console, and consider grouping it with other nautical-themed artworks or prints for a curated, cohesive display.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
