Description

The delicate alternating patterns on both sides of this pure cotton quilt are inspired by traditional block printing. To retain its heritage block-print look, talented artisans in Jaipur, India, screen print onto the fabric by hand. L240 x W220cm. Made of soft 100% cotton. Suitable for dry cleaning only. A small amount of colour and pattern variation is to be expected due to the handmade process.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Graham and Green mistic teal quilt for its rich colour and luxurious feel, making it a great focal point in both classic and contemporary bedrooms. The king size ensures plenty of coverage, perfect for creating a layered, cosy look. It pairs well with neutral tones or earthy palettes, and it can be styled with textured cushions or throws for added depth. For practical styling, consider keeping the bed linen simple to let the teal pop, and add metallic or wooden accents to complement the colour’s cool undertones. This piece works beautifully in rooms that aim for a relaxing yet sophisticated ambiance.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
