Description

Each velvet curtain has been beautifully hand-crafted from sumptuously soft rose pink velvet, featuring a frilled panel along the top intricately embroidered with our Lucia leaf design and finished with natural tassel fringing. Perfect for complementing a country cottage style and ideal for pairing with our matching velvet curtain ties.

Our Stylist Says

The Lucia Rose Velvet Curtains are a lovely choice for adding a touch of vintage charm to a variety of interiors. I love the rich texture of the velvet combined with the soft rose hue, which brings warmth and sophistication to spaces like traditional living rooms or cosy bedrooms. These curtains work beautifully in both classic settings and more eclectic schemes, especially when paired with antique or brass accents. Practical styling tips include hanging them with a substantial curtain pole to emphasise their luxe feel, and pairing them with sheer curtains underneath for versatility in controlling light. They’re ideal for creating a cosy, inviting atmosphere while still offering good coverage and privacy.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
