Description

Create your own miniature gallery wall with a collection of handmade ceramic tiles crafted using the traditional Dutch techniques that began in Delft in the Netherlands in the 16th century. Each design is painted by an artist to depict a tiny scene and then printed onto the clay, glazed and twice-baked in a Dutch tile oven. These unique works of art are made with love and can be used in the kitchen, bathroom or gifted to a fellow art-lover. H10 x W10cm each. Made of ceramic. Each design is painted then printed onto the tile and baked in traditional Dutch ovens at a high temperature. Heat and water resistant. Suitable for kitchens and bathrooms or it includes a hanging system to display it as a piece of art. These products are handmade so the colour, pattern and finish may vary. Made in Amsterdam.

Our Stylist Says

I love this set of tiles because of their charming, vintage-inspired artwork that adds a nostalgic touch to any interior. They work particularly well in rustic or coastal-style interiors, where their seaside motifs and soft colours can complement natural textures and light. For styling, consider using them as a focal point in a small space like a presentation shelf or as part of a feature wall in a kitchen or bathroom. To keep the look cohesive, pair them with neutral or pastel accessories, and avoid overcrowding to let their detailed designs stand out. These tiles make for a playful, conversational addition that can elevate an ordinary space with a touch of personality.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
