Description

Crafted by artisans on hand-driven machines, which can take up to ten years to master, using an embroidery technique called crewel that dates back to medieval times. The soft cream jungle-inspired embroidery contrasts the jewel-toned cushions and is finished with a matching cream fringe trim.  H40 x 60cm. Made from 100% cotton with a duck feather filled cushion inner. We advise spot cleaning only. The design on these cushions has been created by hand, so exact patterns may vary.

Our Stylist Says

The jungle crewel work cushion in navy is a fantastic choice for adding a touch of organic texture and colour to both traditional and contemporary interiors. I love how its intricate embroidery brings visual interest without overwhelming the space, making it versatile for layered schemes. It works particularly well in living rooms with neutral tones, where it can serve as a statement piece, or in a bedroom to introduce a subtle pop of colour. For practical styling, try pairing it with other textured cushions in complementary shades or natural fibres to create a cosy, inviting look. Its rich navy makes it a timeless addition that can adapt across different aesthetics while adding a hint of exotic charm.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
