Description

Make a Sixties statement with this stylish Elsa Wingback Chair And Footstool. Graphic lines and bold styling ensure this design will be a statement piece for years to come.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Elsa footstool for its rich olive green velvet finish, which adds a luxurious yet versatile touch to both modern and retro interiors. It works particularly well in eclectic schemes or alongside bold colours because of its deep hue and plush texture. This piece is great for creating a layered look - you can use it as extra seating, a footrest, or even to style plants or books on top for added interest. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a statement armchair or placing it on a patterned rug to anchor a seating area. Its understated wooden legs keep it light and adaptable, so it seamlessly fits into cosy corners or more open plan living spaces.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
