Description

Make a Sixties statement with this stylish Elsa Wingback Chair And Footstool. Graphic lines and bold styling ensure this design will be a statement piece for years to come.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Graham and Green Elsa armchair for its classic yet contemporary silhouette, making it a versatile piece that can elevate both modern and traditional interiors. The petrol Lario velvet adds a rich, sophisticated colour that works beautifully in a variety of colour palettes, from jewel tones to neutrals. It looks especially striking in eclectic or mid-century styled spaces, where its bold colour can become a statement feature. Practical styling tips include pairing it with brass or natural wood accents for warmth, and using contrasting textiles in accessories such as cushions or throws to add texture. This chair’s inviting form makes it perfect as a reading nook or focal point in a living room or snug.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
