Description
The Edwina sofa bed was created by Swedish furniture designer Dan Ihreborn, whose vision was to blend space-saving practicality with modern style. With its narrow armrests and low frame, the sofa bed’s compact design means it will easily fit into smaller guest rooms. To transform the hand-upholstered Edwina from sofa to bed, simply lift the back of the frame up and over on its smooth mechanism. Once unfolded, it will reveal a memory foam mattress. The removeable cushions are zipped to the frame, so you can be sure that they’ll remain in place when you transition from sofa to bed. Our Stylist Says
I love this sofa bed for its versatile style and plush chenille fabric, which adds a cosy yet sophisticated touch to any room. It works particularly well in contemporary or eclectic interiors, where its soft Duck Egg Grey colour can be paired with both muted tones and more vibrant accents. To style around it, consider layering with textured throws and cushions in complementary colours to enhance its comfort. For practical appeal, keep the space around the sofa bed uncluttered and add a compact side table or a statement lamp to create a cosy seating area that easily transforms into a guest bed when needed. It's a great choice for those wanting a stylish, multi-functional piece that doesn’t compromise on comfort or design.

About Graham & Green
The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand
In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.
The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.
Evolution through Generations
Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.
They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.
Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.
Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.
Milestones and Memories
Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.
They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
