Description

Handmade using a soft, sumptuous velvets, these drum lampshades feature a beautifully embroidered jungle design that is created using the crewel technique on a hand-driven machine. Complemented by the soft cream embroidery, these lampshades are ideal for adding a pop of colour to a natural wooden table lamp or floor lamp.

Our Stylist Says

I love this coral jungle drum shade for adding a vibrant, tropical touch to a variety of interiors. Its embroidered pattern brings texture and visual interest, making it a great statement piece when paired with neutral or minimalist decor. It works particularly well in eclectic, boho, or jungle-themed schemes, but also adds a playful contrast in more pared-back spaces. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a brushed brass or matte black base to enhance its boldness, or using it as a bedside lamp to create a lively focal point. Keep the surrounding decor simple to let the pattern really stand out, and consider mixing it with other botanical or tropical accents for a cohesive look.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
