Price History

Description

Give your home a softly timeworn look with the Catalina rugs. Featuring a vintage-inspired pattern in muted, faded tones, they bring character without overwhelming a space. Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms or hallways, they add warmth, texture and a beautifully lived-in feel to your interior.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Graham and Green Catalina rug for its subtle vintage-inspired charm and versatile colour palette, making it a great choice for both traditional and contemporary interiors. Its muted tones work beautifully in neutral schemes, adding texture without overwhelming the space, and it’s particularly well-suited for living rooms or bedrooms where a cosy, layered look is desired. Practical styling tips include pairing it with natural textiles like linen or wool, and layering with other textiles for added warmth and visual interest. Due to its size, it’s perfect for defining a seating area or anchoring a bed, but beware of its delicate pattern-it's best in low-traffic areas or in spaces where it won’t be subjected to heavy wear.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
