Description

An opulent and luxurious collection of light shades featuring a unique pistachio green hue of velvet, a striking gold metallic inner and a tapered retro shape. 10" (AXB1033): H19 x Diameter 25. 5cm. 12" (AXB1034): H22 x Diameter 30cm. 14" (AXB1035): H24 x Diameter 36cm. 16" (AXB1036): H27 x Diameter 40cm. Made of cotton velvet and wire. Shiny gold inner. These products are handmade so the shape and finish may vary and seamlines may be visible and the shade of the velvet may vary dependant on lighting. Available in a variety of sizes, our shades are suitable to use with lamps and ceiling lights. Please note, when paired with a ceiling light the shade may sit slightly lower due to the position of the fitting, reducing the amount of light that's emitted.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pistachio velvet lamp shade for its retro feel and vibrant colour, which can add a lively touch to both vintage-inspired and contemporary interiors. It works particularly well in eclectic or mid-century style spaces, where bold accents are welcome. For styling tips, consider pairing it with brass or matte black lamp bases to enhance its retro charm, and keep other accessories in neutral tones to let the shade be the statement. It’s also a versatile piece that can fit equally well in a cosy reading nook, a bedroom, or a living room corner to inject a pop of colour and texture.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
