Suitable for underfloor heating. Hand Loomed Pile height : 1cm The appearance and touch of handloom rugs are indeed unique and best suited to decorate any interior. Made using two sets of intersecting threads, a warp is kept taut on the loom and the weft which is thrown through the warp threads, usually with a shuttle. After weaving is complete, a backing is attached to the rug using synthetic latex material which gives strength to the handloom carpet and prevents unravelling. Care instructions: Vacuum regularly, using the nozzle and suction only. Rotating brushes may damage the fibres and the lifespan of your rug. Blot any spills with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub. We do not recommend to use any harsh detergents. Natural fibres may shed. This will reduce over time, and shouldn’t affect your rug’s lifespan or performance.
