Perfect grouped in clusters or simply hanging by itself, the Shadow pendant midnight was designed by Sara Efia Reddin for Golden Editions, and is tightly woven by hand using a traditional basket-making technique from Ghana. As well as providing interest, the open weave spreads light patterns across the wall once illuminated.
I love how this pendant brings a blend of organic texture and modern silhouette to a space. Its woven design works particularly well in interiors that feature natural or bohemian styles, adding warmth and visual interest without overpowering the room. It can effortlessly sit above kitchen islands, dining tables, or in living rooms with layered textures. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist or neutral surroundings to let the craftsmanship stand out, or layering with other woven or natural materials like rattan or linen for a cohesive look. Its versatile aesthetic makes it a standout piece in both contemporary and eclectic interiors.
