Ferrule is a pencil holder which simultaneously takes the best features of pencil extenders, the most cherishable attributes of premium pen design, and the thoughtfulness of mechanical pencils to create a statement work of art that will minimise wastage throughout your work. brass 60% cedar wood 30% TRP Rubber 10% To clean the Ferrule, please use some Brasso wadding (or other brass cleaning agent), which can be purchased at most hardware stores, large supermarkets and online. Take a small piece of the wadding and in small circular motions, wipe the tarnished areas. The wadding should start to turn a deep black showing that it is removing the oils and dirt. Once you have cleaned the brass, take a soft cloth or tissue and slightly moisten it with some water and washing up liquid/soap to wipe off any residue. Finally, take another soft cloth/tissue and dry any remaining moisture. We usually use a yellow glass polishing cloth because it will buff brass well. Alternatively, you can use a scotchbrite pad. This can be messy, so I'd recommend wearing gloves!
