Description

Bring a unique lighting look to your child's nursery or playroom with the Tractor Ceiling Light. This ceiling pendant comes in a blue and black finish that looks ideal with blue themes rooms. It also features a fun tractor design that allows light to shine through the windows and out the bottom.

Our Stylist Says

I love this tractor-inspired pendant for its playful yet modern look. Its bold blue colour and whimsical shape make it a great statement piece, especially in contemporary or kid-friendly interiors. It works well in casual dining areas, playful kitchens, or a child's bedroom, adding a pop of colour and personality. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with neutral walls or minimalist furnishings to let the light and design speak for themselves. Practical tips include hanging it at a height where it makes a visual impact without obstructing views or movement, and pairing with matching or coordinating accessories for a cohesive look that balances fun with practicality.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
