Description

Add a space theme to your kid's room with the Star wall lamp. This lamp projects a warm yellow night light into the room and is made of silicone, ensuring that it is safe to touch for children of all ages. This wall light also features a beautiful star design, making the perfect lighting for bedtimes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this moon and star wall light for its playful yet practical design, making it ideal for children's bedrooms or nurseries. Its soft glow adds a comforting ambiance without overwhelming the space. It works well in a variety of interiors, especially those with a celestial or whimsical theme, or in more neutral schemes where a touch of charm is desired. When styling, consider placing it above a bed or changing table to create a cosy focal point, and pair it with other star or moon accessories to enhance the theme. Its subtle colour and gentle light make it versatile and unobtrusive, ensuring it can grow with a child as they transition through different room styles.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
