Description

Vibrant and colourful lighting styles, the Shooting Star Neon Wall Light is perfect for children's bedrooms. This wall light features a fluorescent design with a star that glows yellow with a multi-coloured trail for a fun and eye catching appearance. It is also USB powered and LED integrated, allowing for energy efficient illumination.

Our Stylist Says

I love this neon star and rainbow for adding a playful and cosy glow to a child's bedroom or play area. Its bright, colour-changing design makes it a versatile piece that works well in both modern and eclectic interiors. To style it effectively, consider positioning it above a bed or alongside floating shelves for a fun focal point. It also pairs nicely with pastel hues or neutral tones, creating a cheerful yet calming atmosphere. Practical tips include ensuring it’s mounted at a safe height out of reach of small children and using it as a nightlight to foster a sense of comfort after dark. This piece is a great way to introduce colour and a touch of magic without overwhelming the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
