It is also USB powered and LED integrated, allowing for energy efficient illumination.

Our Stylist Says

I love this starry sky nightlight for adding a fun and playful focal point to children's rooms. Its vibrant colours and whimsical shape make it perfect for creating a cosy, magical atmosphere without overpowering the room’s decor. It works well in various interior styles - from modern minimalism with neutral palettes to more eclectic, colourful spaces - adding a pop of colour and personality. Practical styling tips include placing it on a bedside table or wall-mounted as a feature piece, and pairing it with other playful accessories or storage in complementary colours to keep the space lively yet cohesive. It’s an easy way to introduce a touch of fun while serving as a practical night-time light.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
