Description

Perfect for princess theme bedrooms, the Princess Carriage Ceiling Light is the ideal fit for kid's rooms. This ceiling pendant features a beautiful carriage design and projects a warm glow into the room. It also comes in a pink and white finish that is ideal for lighter colour schemes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pink princess carriage light for adding a whimsical touch to a child's bedroom or playroom, especially where a fun, fairy-tale theme is desired. Its playful design works well in both modern and traditional interiors, adding colour and charm without overwhelming a space. When styling, consider pairing it with pastel or neutral walls to let the light pop, and keep other accessories minimal to let the feature shine. It also pairs nicely with soft textiles and delicate decor details, making it an ideal statement piece for a cosy, imaginative corner.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
