Description

Creating a calming environment for your child's bedroom with the Moon Wall Lamp. This lamp is made of silicone, meaning that it is safe to touch for young children. It also has a gorgeous moon and stars design that inspires a space theme in your child's bedroom and projects a calming yellow night light into the room.

Our Stylist Says

I love the glow moon wall light for its calming, gentle illumination which makes it perfect for a child's bedroom or nursery. Its celestial design adds a whimsical touch while keeping the space feeling cosy rather than overly bright. It works beautifully in a variety of interior styles, from Scandi minimalism to playful, colourful schemes - simply hang it on a pastel or neutral wall to enhance the soothing atmosphere. Practical styling tips include pairing it with soft textiles or constellation-themed accessories to create a bedtime sanctuary. The white finish keeps it versatile and easy to incorporate into existing decor, making it a functional yet charming addition to a child's room.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
