Description

Add a charming lighting touch to your child's bedroom or nursery with this Moon and Stars Lampshade. This shade can be used as a ceiling shade or as a table lamp shade when paired with a separately sold table lamp base. It also comes in a deep navy finish with silver stars and moons printed onto it for a design that perfectly suits space themed rooms.

Our Stylist Says

I love this moon and stars shade for its playful yet chic design, making it a versatile choice for various interiors. Its navy colour and celestial pattern work particularly well in children's rooms, nurseries, or even a cosy reading nook, adding a touch of whimsy without feeling too juvenile. The straightforward fit makes it practical for DIY installation, while the dark-toned fabric creates a warm, ambient glow that’s perfect for relaxing atmospheres. For styling tips, consider pairing it with soft neutral tones and natural textures to balance its bold pattern, or team with metallic accents for a modern, celestial-inspired look. It’s a charming piece that can add personality and mood-enhancing lighting to a variety of space types.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
