Description

Add a splash of colour to your child's bedroom with this Hexagon Table Light. This table light comes in a sunny ochre colour, allowing for a joyful appearance that looks perfect in gender neutral rooms. It also looks ideal when styled in pairs on bedside tables for a matching appearance, diffusing a warm toned illumination throughout.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lamp because of its bold geometric design and warm ochre tone, which instantly add visual interest without overwhelming a space. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, where its clean lines can stand out as a statement piece. For practical styling, try placing it on a sideboard or bedside table to bring a touch of colour and ambient light to living rooms or bedrooms. Pairing the glow with neutral or muted-toned furnishings helps it pop without clashing, while keeping the overall look polished and cohesive.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
