Description

Create a matching look in your child's bedroom with this Hexagon Table Lamp. This children's table light looks ideal when styled in pairs on bedside tables, diffusing a warm toned light into the room for a calming ambience, These lamps also come in a Navy finish, perfect for blue or neutral themed bedrooms.

Our Stylist Says

I love this table lamp for its sleek, geometric shape and deep navy colour, which adds a contemporary touch without overwhelming a space. It's versatile enough to work in both modern and more traditional interiors, particularly in living rooms, bedrooms, or even on a desk as a statement piece. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist décor or layered textured fabrics for contrast. Its timeless navy hue pairs well with brass accents or natural woods, helping it to blend seamlessly into various colour palettes while providing both ambient and task lighting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
