Description

Make a vibrant addition to your child's bedroom or playroom with the Hexagon Ceiling Light Shade in Ochre. This light shade features a simplistic geometric design which is ideal for older children's bedrooms. It also has an easy fit function which allows it to be placed on any pre-existing pendant light fitting for a DIY revamp.

Our Stylist Says

I love this hexagonal shade for its bold geometric shape and warm ochre tone, which adds a welcoming touch to various interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary spaces looking to introduce an element of colour, but can also bring a modern twist to more traditional schemes when paired with natural wood accents or muted palettes. Practical styling tips include hanging it over dining areas for a pop of colour or using multiple in a statement cluster for a more eclectic feel. Its shape and hue make it versatile enough to complement both minimalist and more layered, textured interiors.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
