Description

Simple but stylish children's bedroom lighting, this Hexagon Ceiling Light Light Shade is the perfect fit for older children's rooms. This lampshade comes in a Navy finish that is ideal for darker room colour schemes and features a geometric hexagon design for a modern look. Easy fit light shades are a great way to quickly revamp any room as they can be placed onto any pre-existing ceiling pendant light fitting.

Our Stylist Says

This Navy hexagon ceiling shade is a stylish choice that adds a contemporary touch to various interior styles. I love it because of its clean geometric shape and rich colour, which work particularly well in modern, minimalist, or eclectic spaces. It pairs nicely with neutral tones, bringing a pop of colour without overwhelming the room. For styling tips, consider hanging it in a dining area or over a cosy reading nook, where its shape and colour can create a focal point. It’s also versatile enough to complement both muted and bolder colour schemes, making it a practical yet striking addition to your ceiling lighting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
