Description

The perfect addition for rooms with low ceilings, this Pink Flush Ceiling Light is ideal for pink or lighter coloured rooms. This flush fitting features a cylindrical design and diffuses a warm toned illumination into the room. With a simplistic design, this flush light is perfect for updating older children's bedrooms.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pink ceiling light for adding a soft, welcoming glow to a room. It works particularly well in contemporary or feminine interiors, like a cosy bedroom or a playful living space. Its colour lends a subtle pop of visual interest without overwhelming the decor. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or pastel palettes to highlight its colour, or using it in a space with minimalistic furniture to keep the look modern and understated. It’s also a good choice for zones that benefit from gentle, ambient lighting rather than harsh overhead illumination. Overall, a versatile piece that injects personality while maintaining functional elegance.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
